Right then as I've just got VAG-COM I obviously had to do some logging :) From my limited knowledge I'd say my MAF's up the duff but I'd like some second opinions please

**see thread below for logs **

Might be worth giving the maf a clean before you shell out for a new one. ideally you should be looking for around 160g/s +/-

Everything else looks ok to me, but im no vag com geek ;)

Your meeting and exceeding requsted boost, duty cycle looks good not hitting 100`s inturn means you have no leaks. :D

Little tip do one block at a time though its more accurate.

Sorry i dont know if im coming or going today, i didnt scroll down

In that case the maf could be on its way out, or under reading. Get some solvent contact cleaner from maplins and give it a clean. I picked up a couple of g/s when i cleaned mine.

Try and get a redline run for a deffinate answer on the maf,

ok thanks mate, I ran out of room for doing runs lol not many places around here with enough room to do over 100 lol! Actually let me check the log I sent you...I tried a few runs will check if theres a bigger one in there somewhere.

Although to be honest it starts losing puff after that anyway so dont know if theres much point?

Im not to sure mate as ive never ready a stg1 log, so im not sure if the maf figures would peak early or carry on climbing even though the boost is starting to tail off?

What about the bypass`s leading from the M4 roundabout to basingstoke. Later the better obviously ;)

yeah the M4 / M32 is my next visit hehe

yeah it does feel as down, doesnt feel as perky as usual!! Will make a visit to Maplins tomorrow and try and clean it.

I might try unplugging it and see what happens, it should just overfuel a bit?

Just unplugged the MAF and it would hardly idle?? And I got a Mass Air Sensor fault and the normal fault in ABS...as soon as I plugged it back in it cleared and idled fine

Ok well I dont know why it idled like that but I just tried unplugging again and it was fine...anyway it seems to hold boost a bit longer and did see to go a little better. However I did pop a coil in 4 lol

I'm going to try someone elses MAF and see what happens
