Is my DPF blocked?

Evening all, I have purchased a MK2 2.0 PD170 FR recently and it has little to no boost but you can hear the turbo trying. The previous owner put some cheap map on it that's just written out the warning light systems so I have no codes or lights. It struggles to start sometimes and it has an EGR delete but DPF still there. No limp mode but won't go high In revs, is it worth getting the DPF off for a check? All help appreciated.

Yes if someone has put a cheap map on but not physically removed the DPF then it will not regenerate as that is now disabled by the new map.
You either need to physically remove the DPF or flash on a stock map, then regenerate the DPF.

If the EGR has already been removed, you're best removing the DPF too.

Are the DPF's easy to remove?? Then I can just gut it and put it back on for free flow.

Not too hard, if you're happy cutting it open, gutting it and re-welding it then you shouldn't have problems removing and refitting it.
