Sounds like the side impact bar, if thats gone it is easier to get a new door. I would hope for £600 that that is supplied fitted and painted if not they are having you over. Get a second hand door and have it painted and fitted.

Same here. I was told that it was cheaper to get a new door than mess around with the old one.

Stupid question perhaps, but have you attempted to pull the dent out? Or is it too deep / creased?

It may be worthwhile paying someone to remove the dent, ie chips away could probably pull it out and repair it!

Sod getting a new door for the sake of a dent especially at the cost of £600.

Of course unless the dent is mahoosive, ie a car impact then yes a new door would probably be reccomended.

If its the size of a tennis ball for example i would enquire at chips away or a similar company!

I had my rear door pulled out and filled... Made a good job of it and only cost £140....

I had 3 creases and a dent. However if the side impact bar is bent I am afraid it is a new door...
