is an FR silencer on a 1.9 tdi sport possible?

I've got 2008 1.9tdi Sport and I want to replace the single pipe exhaust silencer with dual exit with chromed tips off an FR.

Is this possible or do I require a full system?

Also has anyone close to Huddersfield got one to Sell?

Parts numbers and experience say no!!

Better off getting an approved aftermarket exhaust directly from your local SEAT Dealer if available!

The FR has a larger diameter pipe and different fitting and layout due to the DPF.

Yes it is. I have an 08 FR TDi back box and twin pipe fitted to my 1.9 TDi Leon MK2. Its exactly the same shape. Only difference was the diameter of the pipe coming down from the engine is a touch smaller then the FR. This just made it easier to slot one in the other and get it welded/clamped.

Yep diameter different. But the layout is the same. DPF not an issue as you dont take it that far back. My experience says yes. (As you did'nt say )

Come on don't be pedantic,

You cannot bolt an FR exhaust on a 1.9, you have to alter the fitting arrangement!

Can you do it on your back with a set of spanners on your driveway??....NO

You need someone who can weld and the appropriate euipment to fit it!

Is it not easier to buy an aftermarket item that bolts straight on?
