The answer is "NO" afraid not..
Lots of threads on here bout the IPOD functionality..

The best way fwd is to create 5 playlists, being your five fave albums, number 6 plays all your tracks on the IPOD.

Hope this helps

Not with the factory set up stuff you cant... You need a head unit that connects to the iPod properly (not like a CD changer as the factory dock does) and also has the right output for the MFD screen. Have a look at some of the posts about SatNav alternatives people have been diwscussing on here for about £300+ as some I think might give you what you want.

I thought the answer was yes and involved a denison GW15VC1. Try searching for that and you will see somebody has posted a pic with MFD showing track info

I second Phnates and SpursMadDave's comments, I created FAQ here, feel free to add to it if you find out any more.

The issue is with the input on the head unit, it doesn't have the abiltity to input track names from the iPod.

Not sure if you could somehow bypass this and goto the MFD direct. Does the large MFD display track names for MP3 CD's?

I can recommend the Dension GW15VC1, which allows you to have full control of your ipod via the steering wheel controls, browse playlists/artists/albums and display track info on the instrument cluster MFD (if you have the bluetooth option)

I was looking for the GW15VC1 too and of-course found its discontinued, waiting for the new one from dension through seat, but i had been in contact with dension direct and they said that i need the GW16VC1 or GW33VC1 but the guy never mentioned that it had not been realeased or anything, so ill see how it goes when it comes!! (If it comes knowing my dealer!!)

Did you ever get anywhere with your ipod adapter? I have found a couple of places on the net that are selling gw16vc1's for £134 and they list it for Leon.

Got the one from my dealer, was a non-starter, played through the speakers but i couldnt change tracks at all. Did the smart thing and bought a GW15VC1 off another member on here that no longer needed it! At last it works!!
