Fairly similar to Jabba in design I guess and roughly the same cost but in $ not £, provided shipping and taxes don;t kill you it could be a fairly reasonable deal

yep to keep heat away, being heat shield.

design looks similar to the top of the range k&n ones

So you have just put an open-cone filter into a box, to protect it from heat, and you have an air intake pipe feeding it from below.

Is that much different to simply replacing the panel filter in the OE air box? Can't see the gains being that different.

  • Induction Roar
  • DV Echo
  • Under bonnet looks etc

That's what I mean. So in essence all this is just ways of trying to stop the bad affects of induction kits, so you can have a bit more noise. Bloody expensive way of getting a little more noise really.......

lots of extra noise but at least with a heatshield you don't get too much heatsoak in summer from it being roasting under the bonnet
