Out of interest how long did it take those with a Forge FMIC to fit it? Thinking of doing mine tomorrow but it is essential I have the car up and running by Tuesday!!
to be honest with the leon most of the time was spent gewtting the bumpers off, actually fitting the fmic wasnt that difficult or time consuming.couple of hours, give it 3 if you arnt familiar with the bumper removal.
Getting the strips out is probably the hardest bit, and id cut the orginal pipework out from the inlet side of the intercooler, saves having to unbolt the subframe.
as Jonzy said, cut the original intercooler pipework where the instructions say to drop the subframe. I also had to trim the bumper alot, jonzy however didnt, seems to vary depending on the car
I have fitted 2 Forge kits now, really easy. Removing old pipe work is probably the worst bit cause you have to drop the subframe a little bit. Bumper trimming is minimal. I didn't cut the old bracket off, i bent it upwards out of the way.
