Don't know if you tried this web site, stick in your details and it searches loads of insurance sites and lists the quotes by cost.

In the past this has reduced the car and bike quote by quite a bit!!

Out of interest last time, Admiral were best for me.

previous- Privilege, £700, would have been £650 this year

just gone over to the RAC, £570, cheapest by a long way.

everything else wanted over £700, some over £1000.....

Sorry to start up an old thread but I thought it was better than starting up a new one!!!!!

I have been hunting around for quotes for my 05 LCR

I'm 32 with full NCD and its a second car.

Privilege has come back to me with a quote of £383 or £430 with protected NCD
or from the web I have had a quote from Swiftcover.com of £330!!!!!!

Has anyone ever heard of Swiftcover????? Looking on there site they say that they do not post out anything and only deal through e-mail!!!!!!
I like the price they have come up with but just aint to sure who they are

Has anyone got any ideas!!!!

Oh, and I'm waiting on Adrian Flux to get back in touch with me to see what they can come up with.

Swiftcover also 'appeared' to give me the cheapest (saw their advert on TV for first time last night as well) but when you get down to it adding extra stuff and protecting the NCD made them dearer than admirral.

If you go to the admirral site directly make sure you put the car in as a 2006 (if you bought it this year) for an extra tenner off. Admirral were far cheaper than anyone and not even their child - eleephant could come close

I am ages with you full NCD with one speeding convic/ 10000miles, commuting, driveway for 340 quid for a new LCR which I still don't have!!!

Also put a woman on your policy to make it cheaper!! (why?) and admirral allow you to 'gaurantee' your NCD - better that protect it.
