Only owned my own car for two years now so my insurance has been a killer:

£800 - Cordy 1.6 SXE (Direct Line)
£1200 - Leon 1.6 S (Elephant.co.uk)
£2600 - Leon 20VT Cupra (Elephant.co.uk)

...so i was kinda reluctant to get my hopes up for any change in the pattern. I have a lovely fast car but no money to spend on it.... until i spoke to Greenlight Insurance...

...they gave me a quote of £882 Fully Comp with all mods declared on a 'like for like' replacement policy with a market value of over what i paid for the car 6 months ago.

Thats a saving of £1800 in one renewal, all thanks to my age being one year more and my one years no claims i now have (which you require for Greenlight)

Woohhoooo!!!

Give em a try....

The Best thing about Greenlight was when i asked about Mods.... Firstly, it is on a Part for Part basis, so if i crash, they replace my modded parts with the equivalent, modded parts, not standard ones.

They also said i would not be charged extra for ANY mods i did unless it incresed BHP substantially or the parts were more than the standard ones to replace. So, when questioned further i found out my Exhaust and Induction Kit, which give only 5 BHP (peak) more, would not cost extra... nor would my Spoiler or Lexus Lights, or even my 80mm low Coilovers (which some companies won't touch at all)....

I am liking the sound of this. £1700 cheaper and mod friendly.
