well it's that time of year again, & my insurance is up at the end of this month.
i have been searching on the internet for sometime now, for cheap insurance qoutes.
i am 42 yrs old, with full 15 yrs NCD.
the results are as follows:
worst:
NORWICH UION DIRECT £444:00
TESCO £395:00
VIRGIN £384:30
QUOTELINE DIRECT £318:20
HYPERFORMANCE INS £300:00
PRIVILAGE £300:00
EUQUITY RED STAR £296:50
ADMIRAL £289:80
ELEPHANT.CO.UK £271.81 but had bad dealings with these in the past.

would like to no if anybody, has had any better quote's than these, & whom with.

think ADMIRAL is the best so far, but i,m awaiting for ADRIAN FLUX, whom i,m already with, to get back too me too see if they could beat ADMIRAL's qoute.

My renewal with Direct Line is £330 for a standard Leon Cupra 180 (with about £400 excess though). I'm 39.

You of course have to remember that:
Tesco=Priviledge=Directline these are all one and the same company. The quotes vary a little I found tesco cost a bit more than Directline/Priviledge
Admiral=Elephant they are the same too! Elephant usually a little cheaper than admiral but close.

Worth trying Liverpool Victoria just in case. Also feed your details into confused.com.

To be honest your quotes reflect the slight differences I see, Admiral/Elephant are slightly cheaper than Directline/tesco but only a small amount. I'm with Direct Line still cos no point in moving to save less than £20 in my view.

I'm obviously paying considerably more than you as
1. I live in East London which has the highest risk rating
2. I'm a little younger
3. 20vt Cupra are higher insurance

I'd definately give Liverpool Victoria (Frizzell) a call, i've got my LC20vt with them and have found them a pleasure to deal with, not the cheapest (but not far off), but when it comes to a claim (which I had last year) they were unbelievably efficient! In fact, the best ins co i've ever dealt with....

I have just taken out a new policy with Adrian Flux, was with Elephant but not happy with them. A. Flux reduced my premium by £300!! Elephant's renewal was loads more than my previous year yet none of my details changed nor had I made a claim... Maybe they don't like me!

Norwich union everytime!
when the time comes for them to pay out for repairs and courtesy cars etc! faultless, found they are so big a name with the garages etc, they can't afford to mess them around!
(recent rear right damage, on car, garage fixed it all axle new shocker wheel etc) great job drove pants, complained to garage it needs new shocker both sides for balance, told left wasn't damaged nowt they can do! complained to norwich union, next day new shocker fitted with aplogies) power of big company's, worth paying the extra! (garage confessed they bend over backwards for norwich union)biggest customer.

no m8, a 10 mth policy, is really only good for people that havn,t hit over 9 yrs NCB.
they are all for 12 mths.
