Insurance on a 130 PDi

Just wondering what everyone pays to insure their FR or Sport 130 diesel.

Seriously considering as a replacement for the SX (still thinking about a new Leon as well)

Had a quote from current insurer at £275 for 3dr 130 FR 2006 model

How does this compare???

Cheaper than my Sport by about 200 quid - they increased my insurance by 80 quid because of the strut brace , but then again Stu you're older and more responsible than me  :cartman:

If you want more details - catch me on pm/MSN

(Off topic: Going to Brands for the first round?)

Mine was for 25 year old, Protected NCB, 30k inc business miles.

You may find that adding yourself to her policy as a named driver brings the policy cost down too

Should be at Brands too :D

my pug is 30k a year with business class 1, although i don't do anywhere near that now

My ins is £302
seems high, but when mentioned that i have a NCPLH and the car is parked outside the pub 12 hours a day, it's not that bad :)

See you at Brands,
Z posted something about staying at dartford Holiday Inn?? combined room and entrance ticket deal.

Insurance on my TDI Sport was as follows:

Age: 32
Area: Low risk area
Use: SDP+commuting
NCB: Loads
Mileage: 25k
Mods: Chip declared

Cost me around £500/yr.

I just renewed it with the mileage dropped right down to 1k/yr (as it's not being used) but everything else unchaged, and the quote has dropped to around £420 IIRC.

Hmm  I know of one on Ebay right now ;) :D

yeah i know

bet you won't take Clifford in part ex

Got him for another year yet. Need to order the new one next Feb, just want to make sure all the ground work is done so we can go in, order, sign and walk out.

Spent 6 months umming and erring last time, what car? what colour? what spec? etc

this time, the decision needs to be made, coz it will depend on what I replace the peugeot with. Don't want 2 leons, or end up with 2 in the same colour (although both our cars now are dark blue)

My TDI Sport was only £360 with business use, protected NCB and some mods declared. Then again, I'm old now. :(
