Has anyone installed a Four tail pipe exhaust on a Cupra R with two pipes either side of the car? Or even one tail pipe on either side of the car?

I don't think so, most people have got better taste.

DPJ has twin tailpipes on his Leon Cupra. I think your best bet on an LCR is ScottyB - he must've had at least four exhausts by now

Sorry, but its gonna look wank. You'll end up with a hacked out cut out for the exhaust on the offside bumper edge, probably some tat powerflow exhaust, a life time guarentee of hassle because they haven't made it right and there are not proper brackets to support it because Seat never intended it to be there. Either keep a single sided style or buy a car with exhausts each side.

Oi that hurt my feelings Feel!

You can do it BUT you will either have to put a fake pipe on one side or put up with a loss of power as the bends to make the pipe work possible would be horrendous

there must be a duplex system from somebody

if not, find a nice little one-man modding garage who can fabricate one for you.

It'll cost a bit, but any exhaust will.
I had one made for my old Rover 220T coupe. I didn't want huge boyracer style tailpipe, or the immense noise from pipes like peco or pcs.
So he made a one-off tig-welded s/s system with 3"rolled in twin pipes.
Cost me about £350, but as said, Milltek or Rhemus would cost that anyway.

Iv looked at this..problem with the leons and this is the spare wheel well is deep and gets in the way. Only proper way to do it and have it look good..would be cut and weld a tunnel into the spare wheel well...Immediatly loosing you your spare wheel.

Bumper would have to be modded properly at a bodyshop also to make it look tidy. It would look nice, like on the rear of an M-car. But its not worth the hassle involved.

I didn't think it was possible due to the tow bar on the other side sitting right in the way? Or is this removable?

Wouldn't think it would be any good, don't mess it if its not broken...

I have thought this would look smart having an LCR ovel on each side, but have no intention to do it.

Cant do with loss of power and the cost and the hassle im afraid.

had a 220 turbo coupe, then a 216tc GTi coz i needed a more family orientated car

How did you rate the Turbo Coupe? 10 years ago I used to really lust after one.

Fantastic car, well spec'd, comfy and fast.
Shame it was crap off the line tho.
215bhp and fwd just didn't work.
Pull away in 1st, then nail it in second and it would blitz most cars.

Had a memorable blat on a private track against a Porsche 928, and a 24v Omega Elite. kept up with the 928 right til i hit the limiter at 155mph :)

Blimey thats a healthy one then, most standard '05 R1's are putting out 150-155bhp. Are you sure yours wasn't built on the BSB production line ;) Either that or the dyno man felt you needed cheering up!
