Inlet Manifold question

May sound daft...
but would a 20vt manifold bolt directly to the head of a 2L 16V ABF engine?

I always thought the 20VT ibiza was a 5cylinder engine? am i wrong totally... i just trawled through pics of engine bays and all the ones i saw looked to be 4 cyl.

Thanks
there is potential for more questions dependant on the returned answer

1.8 20vt is 4 cylinder, 5 valves per cylinder

5 cylinder engine was the old quattro 2.0 4 valves per cylinder

it wont fit straight on, in short :)

if this is regarding the supercharging mate you need the top half of the 1.8t inlet (with the throttle body on the right) and then weld it to the bottom half of your inlet manifold

ive been told about an audi s2 inlet manifold, but the guy said it was a 16v, but by the looks of it thats a 5 cylinder engine... (the audi s2) obviously the 5th inlet pipe would be chopped off but i cant see how 5 cylinders can use 16v?

anyway... at least i know now that the 20vt wont fit

the S2 wont fit either, they both need to be chopped and welded to the lower half of the 16v inlet, the only reason i'm going to and george have used S2 inlet manifolds is for "aesthetics". They give a nicer final product, plus they need less boring out to match the 50mm inlet of the 16v
