As the title say's

I have decided to just go with a ko4 conversion, obviously many parts need to be changed but i'm struggling on which injectors to use

Do the BAM injectors fit the AYP inlet manifold & fuel rail????

Being a large port head i'd assume swaping the manifolds over is a no no

What injectors do people use when going Ko4 or IHI etc...

Thanks

either genesis 440's or OEM TT/S3/LCR will work, wouldn't bother with the Bosch green tops and spray pattern is apparenetly poor

Thats what i really wanted to know,as to save some money rather than buy some new one's.

Thanks also Hooch, i will bear that in mind if it goes all pete tong! can i ask why you went with those injectors instead of the tt/s3/lcr?

Also how did you get on with the lamda sensor etc...????

they were offered to me at a good price

what about the lambda sensor?

HoocH

I see :)

Did you get a wide band? i'm thinking the S3/TT/LCR ones don't fit,so its something for me to look into 1st before i tear my engine to bits

I know its slightly off topic but what did you think of the Ko4? what i mean is what was the delivery/lag/power like? (did it dump all its torque or more progressive?)
I ask cos your one of the few who's done it :)

i did get wideband but havnt installed it, im going to install it to my gt28rs kit

its an all round good turbo...it has little lag, it pulls very hard and long and is quite abit more power than the k03s

if your a speed junky then go bigger because you can never have enuff power, if your just looking for a reasonable boost in power at a good price k04 is the way!!

is yours on an ibiza?

Thanks for your reply's :)

Thats what i wanted to hear really, the figures people get out of these are about what i'm looking for and i think it'll be more than enough for what i want :)
As much as i'd like more power i cannot afford it for a start but traction would be a major problem with any more (it might be a very slight issue with a ko4 but i'm not that worried)
Its going on a mk2 golf (stripped out) so i'm hoping the power to weight will be pretty nice.
Don't want too much lag and lots of torque from 3k and power to 6k would be perfect, but there's only one way to find out eh :p
I'll post up my findings as i get there.
Thanks again for your input.
