Hi folks I need some help , got big jobs coming up on my tdi sport cam belt/ service suspension etc so big bucks !!!!!!
However iv got a slight problem when the car is idling when fully warm? It judders and shakes the car , I know lots of people have similar symptoms . Its not the maf as I just recently replaced it and my car has more power and mpg. I took it to a specialist and no error codes however the guy said its most likely the wiring harness in cylinder head or wiring loom as most call it ,

Iv never come across this but after my research its a common thing to go ?
My question is has anybody else come across this problem , will it effect performance or mpg as maybe its not firing the cylinders properly ?
Can it be changed diy as garage charging 2 hrs labour !!
don’t want to be throwing money at it just to solve little problems, loom is around £40 as its not that expensive
help please

I had that on my beezer.

Had a proper misfire, took about an hour to fit the new loom. Its a pants design.

Would probably clean up but the loom was £40.
