Just wondering which air filters people use / recommend on here.

I have a BMC CDA on mine, have been told they can be abit restrictive?

Cheers.

Jetex all day long

Avoid K&N, too heavily oiled which isn't good for MAFs

Green are also good, the BMCs are known to be restrictive yes

K&N's wouldnt worry me tbh. Anything thats open cone and a known brand i reckon.

you have to watch it thoguh phil. alot of cones for the older cars are oil based material and its the oil that helps kill the maf all the time. best keeping to a dry gauze one, just my 2p worth. but you know how these mafs are

The amount of oil on the filter is negligible compared to the amount of oil vapours that come from the oil breather system.

I had a BMC on mine which sounded the tits, but now have a jetex and there's a noticeable difference in the throttle response. Sounds like the roads being sucked into the engine and DV dumps nicely aswell!
