induction kit!

hi which is the best induction kit to fit to my leon 1.8t 20v ? they dont have any bad effects on the engine do they?wud apperciate some input

you will get so many conflicting opinions on this mate, it always opens a can of worms.

Some will say dont get a induction kit use a panel filter and mod the airbox, some use an open cone filter and some use a kit with an extent of protection from heat soak which ultimately is that negligable it wouldn't be noticeable any way.

Only real positive advice i can give is don't buy one thats too oily as it nakers the MAF (as per SOME KnN's). Other options are Green, Jetex etc

K n N 57i for me, no problems as long as you don't over oil when you service it.

57i for me aswell, 25k no problems, as said oil it carefully and wipe off excess with towel when done.

most go for green open cone, good price from badger 5.
