Whats the best induction kit for an FR TDi
When I get my dpf issues sorted id like to get some good airflow going.
Do they make much difference on a diesel?
Cheers

induction kits dont make big differences on TDI apart from a noise really. A decent panel filter like a green and a smoothed airbox if you can be bothered is a common way to go.
Agree, most diesel's have a larger capacity intake systems anyway - green panel filter is the best "cheap mod." for fast road use.

i ripped out the plastic air box and got pipercross foam cone on mine, have to admit its does seem more responsive, and the noise when accelerate 'whooshes' a bit more (lol) ...
the only problem i had was fitting. I had to modify the carbon pipe so itd fit where air could get to it. If you order from pipercross, beware. They package their VIS induction mk5 golf stuff as Seat Leon gear. and it does'nt drop straight in like youd think. :S
