I have (from another car) a large induction filter, not K&N but a stainless universal one.

would I get any benifit from it if it was fitted other than the sucking of air noise.

 Yes, would like to fit it to an Alhambra 130bhp

to be honest you will get a better all round gain from a performance filter

I assume you've got a PD lump.

Don't waste your time with a cone unless you want loads of noise and a drop in bhp due to the sucking of loads of hot air rather than cold air into the system.

It really is that pointless.

to be honest i am awaiting my alhambra but i can say i instigated pipercross to manufacture a filter for my 2007 honda civic icdti and manage to get 25 people signed up ,all of whom were very happy with the gains especially 2-5 mpg better and smoother acceleration,so as soon as i get my car i will definately fit a tuning unit and a filter:D
