Hi guys/ladies, my signal indicators are flickering erratically an all bulbs are operational. I'm told by guys here in work that it could be a indicator relay...where is that located on the Seat leon?? Cheers for your help.

The relay is in the Hazzard switch
So you need one of them
They are not that expensive and easy to do.
But I do think it is a dealer only part.
Sorry , but hey it could be worse.

Hi Mate
I would think you dont need much more than that.
There is a trim that you need to remove.
The switch then pulls out.
Unclip the wires from the back of the switch then replace switch and trim
Hope that helps

The Golf 01-03 Haynes manual has a nice diagram an explanation. Basically, pull out the buttons starting from the right, until you can get behind the hazard switch to push it forwards.

Buy the Golf hazard switch (1J0 953 235J) as it's much cheaper than the Seat one (1M0 941 509B) and you only need to change the trim cap over.

If you a feeling up for an argument, VW recalled all their Golfs in the US because the original part wasn't reliable enough. I posted the link in another thread.
