Hello
I have a 2001 cupra, owned form new, done 100k My indicators have been playin up so much I hardley ever use them anymore (or I ma just getting old!)

The indicators on each side work fine until I swicth them off and then the flasher unit keeps clicking, sometimes for ages and really fast, sometimes onlt on the odd occassion, but ALWAYS after I have turned off the indicators.

This happens if I use either side and the indicators, when on flash at the correct speed.

I have changed the flasher unit and all the bulbs but it keeps happening

Only happens when I use the stalk and not when I used the hazard lights

Anyone had a simlar problem? it's drivin me MAD!!

Cheers

The hazard switch contains the flasher/hazard relay, but he's changed that. It can only be the column switch, the stalk behind the steering wheel.

Yes, you need to remove the steering wheel to get at this switch.
