We have a Ibiza 1.2 TSI from 2013. The engine is as far as I can tell good and the gears work very good compared to other ibiza's from the same periode I have driven. Clutch not slipping or making noise. There is one thing though and that is that the dasboard does not show the correct gear it is set in while driving.
When I am in gear five on the highway it says its in gear 4 and I need to switch to gear 5.
As far as I can determine this is the only issue I see, hear and feel. The RPM are as they are supposed to be. Anyone with an idea what it could be?
As everything works, I am reluctant to bring to the dealer to check it now.
I am planning to bring the car for a big maintenance around september when I will ask if they can also look at it. But it would help if I know what it could be.
