Improvements to a Basic Ibiza S

Before people start saying just buy a Cupra...

1. Im heading to University this year so for the next 3 years, petrol will be expensive for me, so im staying with a 1.4!
2. I only passed my driving test nearly 3 years ago so insurance on a 1.8 vt Cupra is going to be expensive for a Uni Student.

I would however like to improve the car in some way, even if this isn't to the Engine to make it perform better, i would like to know if there is easy things to do that will make the car look better interior wise. Im improving the sound system as soon as possible. My brother is helping me with this as well as looking for a CD Changer to put in as my Ibiza has the Climate Control on the HU. Is there anything else that might help me to inject something nice and new into my Car. I've had it for 2 years now and I just feel like it needs a bit of a lift.

I do have a set of Ripspeed Alloys on it after a little accident on ice. Nothing major, just chipped the Base Alloys that i did have.

Anything people can think of would be brilliant :)

I personaly think having the black bits on the bumpers colour coded makes it look better, but to have it done properly might be a bit expensive.

So intsead of having the car Silver and black it would just be a plain Silver Car?

Yeah, That does actually look nice :) The other thing i noticed that i dont like on the Ibiza i have are the Wind Mirrors, Big, Black and Bulky! Not to mention annoying to get into the right position. Is it possible to put Electric ones in My Ibiza?

Thinking about it. I dont think replacing them like that would work. The wiring looms wouldn't be there to do this. Has anyone replaced the Seats in a basic Ibiza? I want to make the car feel more confortable, not only for myself but for passengers at the front and back. If you have done this. Could i see some pics of them?

I'd say whip the natty right angled restrictor off the end of the airbox, and get a cold air feed on it.

Then find some more supportive seats from a Cupra (or Mk2 Ibiza) and set up a 'budget' MP3 player thru the cassette.

Then I wouldn't mess with it, since electric mirrors are useless once you've set them, and you will be wasting your cash on the rest

It would be cool, but i think it would be a lot of work wouldn't it. Im tempted, because im driving a Silver Ibiza S. Im looking at maybe making the interior slightly blue. I think that may look nice :) What do you think?

I have been looking into the inside of the car first before i worry about the outside. Looking into the speaker system to get a better sound out of it. Then i wanna look into the comfort. The seats altough they feel nice still, could be better. Plus i wanna change the colour scheme slightly :) Thinking of colours for the interior that would go with a Silver/Grey Ibiza. Any Ideas?
