New to this site just left a message for a guy who gave me a cracking insurance quote!

Anyone help...I've had my Leon Cupra R 225 for a year now and have put Revo Stage 1 which i have found most fun, apart from the Speeding fine i'm just about to receive!!! Was on some site the other day and noticed that there is a import AWD version in Spain??? Are they possible to import? I did mention it to my new insurer and they said they can cover imports no probs..but i can't actually find a site to do so.. any advice

Its only the cupra (1.8t, and a 2.8 i think) that had 4wd, not the cupra R, and it was a left hooker.

So keep the cupra r

Audi S3 would probably be an easier and cheaper option. AWD and the same engine as the Cupra R.

somebody on here will correct me if i'm wrong but the cuprar4 is a VR6 powered car and i think there maybe a 1.8T version but as somebody else said a S3 would be cheaper to insure than a grey import left hooker. keep the LCR and enjoy the torquesteer!

Virdi... It was a company called A Plan. They apparently do loads of Scoobies and High Performance Cars... Recommended by a friend to me. Spoke to a guy called Rich (01635) 874646.. hope it helps...

Its just known as the Cupra 4 and it is a 2.8 VR6 AWD same as used in the golf VR6 4 motion. It wasn't released over here because of the direct competition with the VW.
There's a yellow one in Holland I've seen somewhere on the net and its a turbocharged Cupra 4 and does over 200 MPH! :-o

200mph sounds fun... But i love this car too much! And not up for the LHD. would like more power (eventually) and 4WD would cope with that a bit better.. but an A3 isn't a Leon!

My car is same as yours Brucel.... You had the Stage 1??

Suspension, ARB's, TIP, etc etc.... Stage 1 is good not got it at the moment and missing it, well worth the cash but be weary of the Stealers as they like to try and tell you your warranty is void if you have it.

Mine has not got any remap at all. ;)
