immob problem?

I have searched through pages but not found the exact problem.

The main key starts the car then cuts out. The orange warning light comes on indicating an immobiliser problem. The spare key works fine and the main key has been working perfectly. Can the main key be resurected?

I read about chip cloning? What is that?

Please help?

Strange how it as become un-paired.
Can be re-paired with vag-com, asking the section for someone local to you
