ignition coil problem but still wont start

Right the other day i went shopping, came back to my car and it wouldn't start. So got towed home to be told I needed a new ignition starter coil, but in the process id filled my car with oil which is now over the max mark!!.
Fitted a new coil, the car is trying to turn over but still wont start. Gonna clean the spark plugs today but has anyone got any other suggestions?? Could it be the crank sensor due to the oil??

Check things like ignition leads for a spark, the plugs, dizzy cap......

Other things that are common and the crank sensor, temp sensor and fuel pump relay.

Hi there,

If you were after a sensor, I have 3 and need to get rid of 2 which I bought for others but weren't required.

If you're interested I'll part with them for £45 includin p&p just to cut my losses, about to fit mine this week!
