Idiot guide for installing new radio

on my 2003 Seat Leon I'm replacing the factory fitted Aura unit with a cheap n cheerful head unit.

The attached pictures shows wires that come with the new unit.
I know that the purples/greens are speakers and the other are power etc.

The original wiring does not match up to these colours (obviously being a 2003 model!) and I wanted to know how best to attach.
Do I follow various YouTube tutorials and snip and connect onto old wiring? is there an easier way?

The original cable holders fit into the new radio - but presumably I need to use the new ones provided in some way?

After you've stopped shaking your head or laughing.......any advice or guidance much appreciated.

Cheers

If the connectors in the car fit the head unit then try them. The loose ones you're talking about must be if you have a pre ISO system
