well my cd player seems to have finally given up the goat, about 2 and a half years old now. was a flip down unit originally which broke but still worked, and now its really died as i can't get the current cd out

now the thing is i am looking at getting a brand new fr tdi soon so i am not sure if i should live with it for the time being or not, prob gonna have to swap the cd for the original radio now when trading in

was thinking about getting a cd changer which is mp3 compatable, head unit is ok and was then thinking of trading in and removing the changer before and fitting to the fr

what would people do in the same situation, cause not being able to listen to what i want is going to annoy me and i am not exactly sure when i will be getting the new car

Depends on how long your gonna have the car. If its not going to be too long I would just stick the original back in and live with it for a bit.
