Ibiza TDi performance mods?

Hi people,
I own a mk3 Ibiza TDi 90bhp its 100% standard and i think is quite nippy for what it is, i have heard how power can be increased etc?
Can anyone let me know what are the best power mods to do?
Any help will be much appriciated.

Remap, exhaust, FMIC, induction kit, bigger turbo's, bigger injecters, propane injection etc etc.
All depends how deep your pockets are

Its a 90bhp TDi engine
What increase in bhp would i expect?

the mk3 ibiza needs to be chipped, can't remap that ECU.
Try looking at Upsolute.

agreed, drop simon coe at upsolute an email, he only charges about 300 notes.

but if you want to do other things then get the upsolute last.

Two places you do not really want to waste you money on in increasing your performance of the TDI is putting in a fancy intake system or exhaust system. The word mufflerectomy is used alot and that means the muffler is taken out and the exhaust is run straight. Not to loud for most, your turbo may spool up a little faster with this set up. The filter box gives good performance as it is, some take out the snow screen and some have removed the snorkle. The snow screen being clean or removed makes a good move due to the snorkle picking up cold air from behind the head light. One exception to this might be installing a "Old Man Intake" this may improve air flow to the turbo and has been reported by forum members to help cut down on excesive smoke.

for the 90hp I'd say go for a remap and that is enough for many. when you get bored with the remap, you can change the car or start modding what you got for serious,,, bigger injectors, bigger turbo and IC.
btw, is yours a wastegate or VNT turbo?

On my old .cool TDI I had an UPsolute re-map from Simon Coe and can't recommend it enough. I also had uprated injectors fitted but they made it smokey and ruined the fuel economy somewhat - damn quick though!

Glad you remember what must have been one of the first Beezer Diesels on here that had more than just a chip - look at how far things have progressed in the last few years, with some really heavily modified Diseasels about now. At least you've had the sense to keep your mk3!

yep know what you mean.. i remember back in the day when it was just the odd one or two mk4s like rages and many more mk3s.

I've finally got around to getting a Fabia vRS, after stalling for two years, still completely standard and likely to stay that way more or less. Wish I'd done it two years ago now! Great car.
