ibiza tdi fuel temp sensor

hi, could anyone help me im looking for the fuel temp sensor on my 2001 1.9tdi seat ibiza i cant find it any where. ive even called the loacal dealer and they wasnt sure where it was. does anyone know where it is or where it could be thanks

Has i thrown a fault up and is it definatly called a 'fuel' temp sensor and not just g62 temp sensor?

what it is, i have brought a tunning box and it says that you plug it in on the fuel temp sensor and every1seems to have done it really easly. but i cant find the sensor anywhere

on my autodata 2007 it shows it inside the injection pump. is it definatly the right box for your car?

there was instructions but the pictures are so blurry you cant see anything. apparently its the right box or so it said on the web page. www.celoxpreformance.com

how many pins are on the connector?

Yes temp sender is inside the diesel pump, to plug in your tuning box (fitted mine last week ) there should be a 8 or 10 pin plug coming from the fuel pump, that is where the tuning box plugs into.

Yeh thats what i was thinking as the sensor is intergrated within the pump. On later models the tuning boxes plug into the injector wiring loom (in series) and it creates more power by sending false info to the ecu, basically tricking it into working harder.
