Ibiza mk4 + basic diesel questions

hi
appologies if this is in a sticky somewhere but i have a few pretty basic questions......

what ET is best for non-cupra diesel ibiza's?
what size aftermarket wheels would be best?
how much roughly does servicing cost & how often?
how easy is it to fit cupra bumpers to a non-cupra ibiza?
also how is the "sport" range different from the FR range?
and common mk4 fr130 dti problems/niggles and any that can be caused by tuning the engine (the usual intake/exhaust/chip mods)?

Thanx :)

ET? NOT SURE WHAT HE HAS TO DO WITH IT

how much roughly does servicing cost & how often?

SERVICING EVERY 10K AS WITH ANY SEAT, COSTS VARY

also how is the "sport" range different from the FR range?

THE ENGINES ARE DIFFERENT AND SO IS THE BODY AND INTERIOR, SO JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING.

NOT AWAY OF ANY APPART FROM MAKE SURE THE PREVIOUS OWNER DIDNT RUN THE ENGINE DRY, THEY USE QUITE A BIT OF OIL. THE PD ENGINES ARE RELIABLE.
AS FOR CHIPPING.....DEPENDS ON THE PERSON THAT DID IT AND IF HE RAGGED IT. SO BETTER TO GET A NON CHIP ONE THEN CHIP IT YOUR SELF.

ohh and your seat dealer will know all this...............

I think you'll find that the early Sports and the FR both use the same PD130 engine. It's only the new Sport range that have the PD100. I'm not quite sure what you mean about the body being different though? As to the interior it's just minor differences in trim and specification i.e. the early sports have extra gauges and yet the MY04 don't.

So would half the forum if they bothered to use the search function.

As said above, the PD130 Sports & PD130 FR's use the same PD130 engine!

Its the gear boxes and suspension that are slightly different (suspension harder on FR meaning "better" grip maybe?!)

And the gear box makes it quicker to 60, but suffers top end as lack of revs.

37mph per 1k in the sport whilst its closer to 31/32mph in the FR i beleive.

ET (offset) is 43 on all Ibizas - altho watch it cos ive got some Kei Racing Force 10's and theyre supposedly ET42 and scraped on the front brake calipers (eep!)

3mm spacers were required... As with a lot of aftermarket products.

Despite asking my two most local dealers, neither had a clue! they both told me very different things. Trying to find an FR for 10k at the moment but is next to impossible!!!

Give them a ring. My car didn't even get a chance to get up on the website. It came in on a Friday evening, and I bought it on the Saturday morning! I was up there last week and there was a few diesel and petrols around 10k as the new reg's were out so taken a price drop. Ask to speak to Dan in sales, he looked after me well. Say Andy recommended him

How much did you pay for yours?? (if you don't mind me asking?)
Mine's an 05 plate, was registered around June if I remember, had 7500 on the clock, and paid £10500. That included transferring my number plate over from old car, few things sorted on the car, and a nice Seat jacket in the boot :funk:

Your not looking hard enough.,

Although fair play, the FR's do seem to disappear quite quick once on the forecourt, and i think i can see th eatraction:)
