Ibiza Mk4 Aux Connection

Hi, first post here.

On the standard Alana sound system HU that comes with the Seat Ibiza (CD6 Changer, NOT AUX input) is it possible to connect an aux lead to the CD6 input on the back of the HU? I've read around quite a bit and it doesn't seem like anyone's had much success.

(By the way, I don't have the AUX input next to the handbrake before anyone asks)

I'm not technical at all so i'd need something that is literally plug and play (I have a friend who is an auto electrician but he doesn't know about this specifically, so he could help with any soldering/earthing if necessary)

Does anyone know of any AUX adapters that work with the CD changer input (or any other way of connecting aux) ?

I use a Dension unit with my iPod and it also provides a 3.5mm Aux socket. See [thread]208673[/thread] although it's not a cheap option.

Check out XCarLink (www.xcarlink.co.uk). They do good kits that use the CD changer port. Add in the bluetooth module and you can play music wirelessly from your pocket. It also includes a microphone on a wire so you have handsfree too.
