Ibiza mk3 aero wiper conversions (polo mistake)

well 300miles later and a wash out all my effort of cleaning the car was a waste. but im loving the progress of the car and atleast i could wipe my windscreen today!

well worth it with little hassle

I would set the arms a bit lower down so they are more level.

Just my obsessiveness showing through tho!

yeah they were slightly lower but the nut seems to have loosend and set higher up will adjust ion due time...now im just dying for my exhaust grrrr

Are the Lupo wipers a direct fit? I need some wipers that fit directly. Has anyone an idea what should i buy, because original ones are shitty to say the least. Any ideas welcome.

thats the whole point of my post mate...im guessing u never read from the beginning?

u need to buy the wiper arms too which cost 35quid each, lupo arms are the same length as the standard ibiza arms so they fit fine

then u need blades, its sort of better to mix and match, cos they either overlap or leave a gap and almost always need trimming

iv heard of using passenger side blades on the drivers arms, using vw transport blades..but i used lupo drivers side blades

ordered wed around 4 picked em up 9.30 on friday

So it really is worth the £90+ for the clear wiping of the windscreen as the standard wipers do really, really suck!

I'm very tempted with this, rains twice as much up the valleys as it does in cardiff!!!

About to change to my third set of wipers since march. Not impressed.



Are they all Bosch parts? Blades, arms etc...?

Just fitted mine!
Trimming the one wiper was a pain in the arse!!

But all fitted and even though they are expensive, im well impressed with them.


On a side note, can someone please measure their untrimmed wiper blades, and state whether you bought drivers side or passenger side blades.

PS, after trimming how did you secure the pain in the ass end cap?

i took a sharp knife to the inside of the end cap and cut away the clip on pieces, so it just popped on...

got a bugger now though, the grommet which pops over the wiper arm nut has fallen out on 1 side

LoL mine dont seem as secure either, bloody grommits!

I think i may super glue the end cap on, theres no need for it to come off ever again!
