Ibiza mk3 aero wiper conversions (polo mistake)

ok i know what i should have got so no-one patronise me about searching

i done a foolish thing of ordering Polo 6N wiper kit from vag parts mainly bcos of the price tag (52quid in all) but when i receieved them it was obvious when offering them up that the arms are way to long and are a complete shite fit

ill be sending them back but vagparts dont list a lupo kit and even if they did id need 2 odd ones anyway

so for future reference, no-one order the polo kit!!

i had given up on the renault ones and thought 20quid extra and u get arms and would be easier to get the real blades was worth it but now...

if i still have to pay over 100quid perhaps the renault ones are better


im dying for new blades!!! cant see **** when it rains LMAO

Me neither mate, i think enfields near london, but i'll search for renault enfield, and get a number and order them! Although the lupo ones look good!

went into VW to order lupo ones, came to 94quid in all

bit more than the ones i ordered from vagparts and alot more than the renault kit, but i guess u get more for ur money and an upside is the blades only cost 12quid each and are available of the shelf if ur lucky

should be fitted friday

VAG Parts are very good, and very reasonable. Tell them toXXin from UK-Polos says hello, and they'll probably make you up a Lupo GTI wiper kit. You can order whatever you like through VAG Parts, they'll definitely help you!

well too late now...paid in full
though did get sent an R32 DSG pedal set instead of the regular manual kit which i ordered. easy mistake though, will use them again, just wont take risks


the renault dealers around here are stupid, arrogant, know it alls and i wont be going back lol

Newport VW around the corner from Westec mate, very helpfull fellas...didnt even have a P/N and they knew what i wanted
they used to be useless when under Hartwell ownership but now they are very helpful and very recommended if ur willing to fork out

Changing to the lupo wipers was one of the best practical things i have done! In this weather they have been great way better than the standard ones!

well VW is there and to get to westec...u have to turn off down the road by the citreon dealer on the main roundabout at the top, and down this road all the way till theres a left turn and theres a few garages and westec is hiding in the corner

Cheers Mate, i may pop down lunch time today! I think i know where it is now!
Would have bought a few things from there too, but cos i gotta pay for my dentist treatment! (snapped a tooth) i think it'll be a while before the car see's anything new! Although i should get the wipers, and i've got full brake set up disks and pads on order!

Ooh and my Oetttinger keyring came yesterday! Wooowoo!

fit them yesterday had to modify the passenger blade today as it was an inch too long

wot a bugger to cut!! but done and sorted, well pleased with them...almost even tempted to say worth 100quid! i wont cos its bent u have to buy the arms but they do make such a difference

just recieved my plates from germany too yay

Am i right in saying, its two driver side arms, and blades that are needed?

if i had a choice though id get a different blade for the passenger side so u wouldnt need to cut it
