Ibiza Mk2 Front Wiper Probs

Blinking typical. On way home from lovelly day shopping with the wifey :( and the front wipers stop mid wipe 10 minutes a hour long drive just when the blizard starts.
Managed to stop and have a fiddle but to no avail.
The font/rear jets and rear works fine using the stalk. The fuse is fine.
Now before i go nuts on the thing any advice? Does it sound like a motor problem or could it be something more simple.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
;)

Possibly the stalk or a relay, also check the connections on the motor as they could of got wet or corroded due to the recent bad weather. On my polo a stalk failure stopped the front intermittent, but everything else worked fine

ta mate. went nuts on it and it [:@] .
Turned out that when i removed the snow off the windscreen the other morning using the wipers i must have losened the nut from the motor to the arm.
It's been a biatch messing about with it and having freezing fingers. Lots of blinking plastic to remove first. Still not fixed.
Will be having another go tomorrow so hope it doesn't snow too much tonight. Lesson learned though, remove big snow build ups with scraper and not wipers. :D
