Ibiza FR Wing Mirrors

Hi I am in discussions with someone I bought a FR Ibiza 2006 from, they have suddenly appeared with Black Mirror casings, the pictures it had Silver, they are saying the light reflected in the picture making them look silver, I was under the impression that Silver Wing Mirrors were standard on ALL FR models

I believe your correct, i thought the 2006 model had silver ones. Please dont take my word for it tho.

all ibiza fr's from the start have titamium colours wing mirrors to be politically correct but they are basicaly silver, match the alloys and bits in interior. they are about 10 quid for the pair though if you cant sort it out with previous owner

No No it is an FR, basically, I bought it off a lease company, it was an ex lease car, from me viewing the pictures to actually collecting the car, I think someone has smashed a wing mirror up and they have put 2 black ones on there, but they are denying it!! I have said they should have silver on and they are saying they called Seat and they don't have silver ones till the new 07 model came out.

Ok, as long as you are sure because this happened to someone else, got charged for FR when it was a sport!

WHy not replace with FR mirrors, they're all the same price... £6 each

Are they only that much... I will do it its not the money thats the problem, its what have they done to have to change both of them, since I agreed to have the car, thats my main concern. But wanted to confirm they are silver, as they were trying to tell me in the picture it was the light catching it lol!!

What type alloys does it have??

i looked at a few frs before i bought mine and only one of them had silver mirrors and that was a red one i asked the garage to find out if they come as standard so they rang seat and they are part of the standard fr put alot of people opt for normal ones so it doesnt lok as sporty

Out of interest what is the part number for the silver covers as i got black alloys with my fr and they put black mirror covers on it and i prefer the silver one
