You need to buy a new dashbord, or if you go to someone that deals with ECUs, usually they can "kill" the imobilizer. But if you "kill" the imobilizer you will be able to start the car with any key from seat and you don´t need to code it.

Finding poor solder joints and loading some more solder into them normally sorts out poor solder joints.

Warming up the connector pins with a soldering iron and tinning the pins (applying a very thin coating of solder to the pin) could help too. Just don't melt the plug/socket that's all.

By the way the instrument cluster comes out without removing the steering wheel. Make sure you remove it with the battery disconnected or you may get air bag faults come up.

Good Luck!

As already said, yes it is possible without removing the steering wheel, just move the steering wheel all the way out and down for max room.

Thank you!

no joke i have fixed it!....
i took all the dshboard out, thought F**K that when seeing that i could not get the dash board out because of the steering wheel put it all back and what do you no, it has worked all day and i have lost count on how may times i have turned my car on and off, i am only gessing it was a loss connection or something but hay! it works now fine!!! (touch wood ok?) but if anyone has any problems with the same thing just make sure everything on the back of the clocks is in thats all i can say to try and cure the problem!
Thanks everyone for the ideas etc much help!
