What do we think?

I think its pretty cool and im really going to consider one for my next car, although if air con doesnt become an option it will soon be ruled out.

Its really just the same idea as the Polo Bluemotion although from the ouside its exactly the same as the normal ibiza only with skinnier steel wheels.

I think it looks pretty smart, its a really good idea and will be super eco friendly to own. I mean you dont even have to pay road tax!

Its got the 80BHP 1.4TDi engine, does about 74 MPG average and costs from £10,500, which isnt toooo bad compared to the 1.4TDi ref sport, although id like it cheaper than that.

Its a lot lighter than the standard 1.4TDi and the skinny tyres, with "earodymanically styled wheel trims" reduce drag. Although the wheel trims look to be the same as on the early ibizas. Its also got a longer 5th gear for better MPG on the motorway.

Although with the new Ibiza due in 2009, its only going to be available for the next year. I think the ECOmotive is due on sale in Jan 2008.

Whats your thoughts? :)

£10,500  i got my fr fully loaded part from xenon's for 12500 so if i didnt have all the extra's would prob only be £1000 more that that and if you really drive it carefully you can get 60ish mpg

Aircon is a option, but will take the co2 emissions above 99 and therefor you will pay road tax if you want aircon. £35 a year then.

Its alot of money to say your being green. Id rather just buy a FR and have the extra power :) And still be green'er' than our 20vT friends :p

The polo bluemotion looks a million miles better. It was on fifth gear a few weeks backs. Maybe more expensive but the ibiza interior is just not good enough these days imo.
