Ibiza Cupra R ARB links

I've done a few searches and couldn't find exactly what im after so hope someone can help.

The R needs new ARB links (the ones on the wishbone) and im not into pay Stealer prices since its near xmas.

went to GSF and then euro car parts and they only list the links with 18mm inside diameter bushes in them, they even cross-referenced the VAG number i got from vagcat (6K0411315) and it thew up the 18mm ID bushed links

So, can anyone confirm that the front ARB on a Ibiza Cupra R is 20mm at the ends?

And

If its possible to get the ARB links from anywhere bar the Stealers? if so where? and part numbers?

IIRC the front ARBs are tapered, but commonly referred to as 19mm so this sounds about right to me

No worries. I'd get "Daves Ibiza" to confirm as he's recently changed these but I *think* so yeah

i got some ARB links from GSF a while ago, and they were wrong, the ibiza's have offset links, where as what they gave me weren't offset.

When i went back to GSF, they told me they couldn't get the ones i needed, but they had seen them before.. stealers only

yeah had the same at GSF, although the ECP ones are offset and look to be what i need. Hopefully they will be correct. I'll see what Daves Ibiza done when he replies to my PM.

Well the 1st lot i got from Euro Car Parts tonight are the wrong ones!

This is starting to get frustrating, ive seen more varients for these than i've had hot dinners! only other ones that look almost identical are these from AVS:

only difference in the links part number is that it has a N as the second letter, compared to the K in the seat number

Have you checked to see whether the dealer ones are actually that much more expensive?

I Recently changed my ARB links, the 1st set i was supplied by a local factor were the wrong ones but got the right ones (offset type) 2nd time round. they were about £15 per side. They're all fitted now with no probs so you can definitely get them from places other than the stealers. I also got handbrake cables to fit at the same time from a different factors and they were the wrong part too, needless to say that when I went out too fit all these parts I was less than impressed to find that none of them fitted!

Robbie: yeah the stealers are about £60 all in for links and bused etc. If the ones i ordered last night are right, then they'll be around £20 all in.

Doctor rage: just out of interest and for future reference, where did you get your links from??

Well back to sqaure 1, the links i ordered last night have the right size bushes but are the wrong design and arn't offset.

the ones I got came from stig's motor factors in newton aycliffe - 01325 316566. I've just measured the inner diameter of the bush in the ones I removed and it is 19mm if that helps. the new ones were a bit of a tight fit but a bit of wd40 and brute force with a tyre lever got them to slip on.
