My injectors seals/o-rings are weeping, anyone know the size so i can get some before i take them apart.

I've got plenty of o-rings at work so i'll only need the id and the od of the o-ring.

cheers

are you sure it's the O rings & not the seals?

Ah!! Not sure m0rk, when i put the evo gasket on there was loads sh*te all around the injector and surrounding area which i always thought was the rocker cover leaking but it turns out the gold coloured gunk is from the injectors.

When you say the seals you mean the black rubber one's attached to the mani itself. Probably best buying those aswell just to eliminate them.

Sorry to top this thread but i have the same problem.

Looks like my injectors are leaking as there are stains all over the surrounding area. My cars booked in for a service at Seat on the 31st, shall i get Seat to change them while car is there or shall i get the parts elswhere and get someone else to do the job? Surely it can not can not cost much?

Injector O-rings x8 __________ 035 906 149A ___ £2.35 each
Inserts into inlet manifold x4 __ 06b 133 555H ___ £1.09 each
Inlet manifold gasket ________ 058 129 717D ___ £2.69
Inlet manifold Bolts x8 _______ N10 080 102 ____ £0.46 each
Fuel rail bolts x2 ____________ N0147404 ______ £0.39 each

Thats the parts I used when I changed my Injector seats and injector O-rings.
Hope that helps, P.s I didn't pay those prices got them at cost.

I'd advise taking the inlet manifold off if your changing the injector seats/inserts, as debris falls on top of the valves. Also i had to chisel one of them to bits as it wasn't coming out.

I work at a VW garage so get everything at cost price should have come to around £36, i paid around £23 for all the above.

On etka next to the part number in the remarks section where sizes are usually noted it states 7,52x3,53. Hope that helps forbez.

Is the gold stuff your talking about not oil coming through from the oil breather pipe coming from the PCV valve into the inlet manifold?

Mine has this too, Should I think about replacing seals too? (having blanked this pipe off)
