The colour of your car normally represents you (when you have the choice of colour). If your desperate to get it then the colour wont matter but imho when ever i see anyone in a god aweful colour (Gold, Yellow, Pink, brown etc) I always think arse.

But thats my opinion - people probably think the same as i do when i speed past them on the motor way and I drive a balck one so horses for courses.

yellow is the best colour for an fr in my opinion as it looks meaner but a word of warnign if your going to tune it and make it smoke more its a bugger to keep clean

Easy to find in the car park! :D

except when there's another yellow car in the car park. i've found myself wondering why its not unlocking then notice its not my car lol.

Yellow looks great on a damp dull cloudy day, much brighter than everything else. Less chance of getting crashed into than say a grey car.[B)]

can't go wrong with yellow IMO, I have had 2 ovni yellow Ibiza's, a mk3 and now the mk4

well easy to keep looking nice as it doesn't show every blemish like black or dark blue and it doesn't show swirl marks and the like

very much like silver in that respect

go for it, get yourself seen

I have found yellow a much safer choice - there is no excuse for not noticing you when pulling out of a junction, and you get less people pulling out into your lane on the motorway (in fact you can often intimidate people into pulling over for you!!!:D)

I don't regret getting yellow, but you're the one who will have to live with it!

my 2 cents worth

i used to have a black one and always looked at the nice bright yellow ones in envy, so when i decided to trade her in and get an 07 cupra went for yellow, dont get me wrong i dont regret it but would definitely not buy another bright car. yes there a bitch to clean but they look fantastic when they are clean thats not the problem, the problem is stone chips:cry::cry::cry:. they really do show up as they are little black marks all over the front of mine after only 4000 miles. thought i would make you aware of this little prblem easy way to overcome it would be to invest in some of the paintshield film you can buy, seems like would be a very good investment and next year i will take off my front bumper put a new one on with some film.

I dissagree about stone chips also about yellow being hard to clean

yes they do show chips but black and dark blue show them really bad, swirl marks and small blemishes hardly show on yellow at all

the yellow touchup pen is fookin' ace, blob some paint in the chip to over fill it, wait a day for it to harden and shrink then T cut it smooth and the chip vanishes

I have done 4 on mine and I challenge you to spot them

I was surprised at how easy the yellow is to keep clean, the only part that gets really dirty is the tailgate when the roads are gritty - but that happens to every car ;)
