Ibiza 1.2Tsi engine rattle on startup

I have a 1.2Tsi Ibiza Mk5 first registered 3rd August 2011. 16,000 miles on the clock. Recently on startup I've been hearing a loud rattle from the engine compartment. It lasts for around 3-4 seconds then disappears.

It sounds exactly like the sound from the 1.2Tsi engine in youtube clip titled 1.2 TSI faulty timing chain rattle

Fortunately the sound from my engine disappears after startup but if it is the timing chain I fear it may worsen and eventually damage the engine.

There is around a weeks worth of the 3 year warranty remaining. Concerned my local SEAT dealer will pooh pooh me when I go in next week and fob me off until the warranty expires.

Any advice appreciated.

I had a similar noise on my engine at 4500 miles and it turned out to be the Timing Chain,fortunately my chain jumped a cog and was stationary when it happened so I ended up with £700 repair job instead of a new engine if it had happened whilst driving!!!!!!!
