I lied ...

I guess browsing through the best looking cupra thread hammered home the fact that new bumpers and rub-strip are a must-do at some point

Anyhoo - job done, the first component is pretty much sorted..bar the payment and collection thing, a bit of TLC and this will be as good as new - plus I actually managed to win something on ebay despite the flurry of last nanosecond bids

Are you talking about the yellow one? The one i got was only on for about 2 hours and i asked him to do a buy now. Its in good condition as well, just a little scuff. I will be getting it painted anyway so game on!!

Well I got the bumper home today, there are some scrapes and dings which shouldn't be too much bother,

There is a gouge in the front which I'm going to fill, and then its off to get quotes for a respray - pity really as its the exact right colour for my car already ! Seems a shame when the rest of it is in such good nick..

Sweet mate!! Dont they look good, Much better than the old look. I cant wait to get mine all done

cheers mate !

- quick question :

My bumper has both upper and lower grilles missing, obviously I need to get the lower one , but can I use the current grille from my pre-facelift bumper in the upper fixing or is it a different shape ?
