I want a cupra R Turbo charger, but need help please!!

Hey guys - got a 54 plate leon cupra, but now decided i want the turbo changed to the KO4 cupra R one.

Would i need just the turbo, or also the downpipes to go with it etc??

Wheres the best place to look for one?? Would the TT 225 one do??

I know my stuff about interior mods, but not much about engine work at all, so any help would be much much appreciated

It's not as simple as just swapping the turbos. You would need a K04 map to go with the turbo

manifold, injectors, downpipe, exhaust, TIP, maf, the list goes on

why bother? It's not like you'll gain much extra by doing that.... a remapped LC will put out roughly the same figure as bog-standard LCR.... the LC and LCR engines are not the same internally - there is more than just a different turbo...

Go for a different aftermarket turbo - you'll get much more bang for your buck
