I can now report that my car appears to be fixed
Had its cambelt and water pump changed today by a local mechanic. The original waterpump (plastic) had shredded into bits I wish i'd taken a photo of it now!!
Now has a metal bladed pump and temperature is staying firmly at 90 again yay
Apparently the cambelt was starting to come apart at the edges so was a good time to get it changed Car is on 59,500 miles and has been stage 2 for about 15k
Also replaced the fusebox on the battery and all my fans are working properly again
Has cost a bit more than i had hoped but am pleased its sorted now.. Now only need to get the keying on the side sorted and she can be put up for sale
