Well got stuck on the M4 today for 2 hours as a lorry had overturned and theyd closed it between 13 and 14, got to 13 did a u turn and came back, going along nicely when I put my foot down and uh oh....
Excess pollution light start flashing and car starts juddering....
Manged to limp home slowly but as soon as the engine is under load it sounds like a modified saxo, called SEAT assistance and theyre on the way...judging by my search looks like it may be the dreaded coil pack...I guess it didn't like sitting in stationary traffic for so long

phew,confirmed coilpack had gone, nica AA man replaced it and cleared fault code, cylinder 3 misfire...
...guess Id better get some spare coilpacks in just in case !!!

Hi Brendy, yep he did find one on the van, replaced and all ok, just ordering some spares from ECP

duh sorry still hung over, didnt see the word replaced the first time i read it....
when i had one go a bit shonky the dealers replaced all four, suppose I should have asked for one of them back as a spare.

no worries, was just glad it was something simple, finally had REVO loaded this morning, thought it had revealed something horribly wrong with the engine.
lucky I still had 3 days left of SEAT assistance cover

Mine went soon after remapping also, I think it is related but only highlights already failing parts.

yep, that was my guess too, have ordered a couple of spares from ECP just in case....
