I drive a the same car as yourself and have an ipod in my car SEAT quoted me £350 to put the CD Changer in the car so it was cheaper to buy the IPOD I currently connect mine with either the cassette tape or the wireless connection that runs it through your radio it was £30. Or you can link it directly through the radio with a gadget for £100. Not sure if this is of any help
Hi mate, you sorted your ipod connection? 2 ways you can do this is 1. Belkin do a fm transmitter that works throu ur fm signal, these retail @ about £20. 2. theres a dension kit thats wired through stereo, with a mount for your ipod. this also charges it, I belive thats about £70. Hope this helps
I don't know about your original headunit but I got a standard phono lead that has a blue connnector on the end that fits all aftermarket headunits for a fiver!
Can't remember where I got it from but it is very useful!
You can see it in the picture below!
have the following head unit, and bought a "VSTX001" Seat convertor for an mp3 player from connects2. Cant seem to connect it anywhere on my head unit, and couldnt even find somewhere to connect cd changer, even though there is cd button, and cd controls? doesnt make sense...
dealer says if there is no cd changer cable in the car already, I can send back, and get a "VSTX002" which apparently will connect straight into head unit.
Alreyt mate, pull your stereo out on the back there should be either some mini iso's or a socket for mini iso,s. this is where your cd changer should fit. let me no if this helps
