one of those pictures is a side on shot of the inside of the door i think....you can tell by the wall in the background and the grass thats going up it

Sorry peeps but I tried to do too many things at once...

1stly I was trying to show you a few pics of my car

2ndly I was glossing the garage so I rushed taking the pics so that there would be enough light

3rdly I wanted your opinion on why the rear nearside door has no holes or 'buttons' where the rubber door seal should clip onto??!! even if it was a new door, surely it would come with them??


.....as for the dog-greyhound thing I was trying to say that my LCR is bog standard compared to most of yours and actually needs TLC as the previous owner couldnt give a s**t so at the moment I need to spend all the dosh bringing it bak to scratch...then...eventually mod it a little so it becomes een better.
so at te moment my LCR is the injured puppy but still love her to bits!!!

Hello,if you have been following this thread you'll havenoticed that I didnt have any 'rivets' on my left rear passenger door.....today I 'popped in' the best bodyshop in Liverpool, Smithdown Lane garage, c/o Merseyside Police and sadly I was told that the door had a new exterior skin and that whoever had done it just decided to smooth the 'rivets'.... the guy at the garage said I'd be looking at megabuks to get them punced back in

...but at least he gave me a really good price at doing a respray on door and bonnet!!

well I've got to sort car from scratch now but its a positive thing.....(i hope)!
In the next couple of months it will need new front and rear discs and pads so they are priority number 1 (i will go for aftermarket ones), then it will be the turn of the alloys, not sure if to get them refurbed in a different colour or just part with them / swap them??

I'm quite happy with the interior so no mods there.


Finally it will be turn of the bodywork so I'll get all the bumps and scratches painted again, windows tinted and .......still not sure about it but maybe the so called 'chavvy touring car spoiler'

next year it will be engine mods

i've got a plan, just got to stick with it!!
