i just got my ibiza remapped!

I just got my car remapped and god i love my car right now,lol
But when i first got it remapped i didnt because as soon as i got it remapped the 3rd coil decided to go but luckly called the aa and they had one on his van.
Is this a common problem when a ibiza gets remapped?

Search and you'll find every answer you need, there's an active 3 page thread on this at the moment.

Some people find that a remap puts extra strain on the coilpacks and causes them to go quicker but others have been fine, all depends. One things fairly certain though, if one's gone now then you'll find the rest will probably follow within a short space of time

Yup, Your the second one this month that i know of that has had one go after a remap.

this never used to be an issue a few years ago, but I suppose as older/higher mileage cars get mapped then its inevitable.

i had to replace 2 coil packs once i got mine mapped, also sort boost hoses as they kept popping off with std clips on them..

You should get a spare to keep in the glove box just in case
