Hey,

Well I have my car back now.The ECU has been replaced and the car has been test driven by the garage, daily for a week. It's had a valet and has been filled up with petrol. I am hoping the starting problem is cured now. Sadly it has to go back to the dealers next week, as my cruise control now doesnt work. It looks like they failed to enable the option when they reprogrammed the ECU.

I also noticed this morning that when I opened the tailgate that the opening latch (seat badge), moved normally to open the tailgate, but stayed in the open position, as if the return spring has failed? I have experienced this on my Leon when the temperature has been below freezing (I assume the oil damping was affected by the temperature), but this morning it was 10 degrees. Anyone else experienced this?
